Established in 1997,  Dance FX has more that 50 dancers on it's award-winning competition team which travels all over the country. The competition team includes dancers from all over South Florida ranging in age from 2 1/2 to Advanced.  Owner Joan Bartoletti has been a dance educator for more than 30 years.  Her daughter, Julie Bartoletti is the studio’s Artistic Director and main choreographer.  Dance FX employs 12 additional instructors who specialize in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, contemporary and acrobatics. 

The studio, located at 10067 Sunset Strip in Sunrise has two dance rooms, a lobby with viewing windows, and an outside back patio.  Classes are held Monday - Thursday and Saturdays.  The competition team holds rehearsal on Fridays and Saturdays and competes 4-6 times each year.  All dancers participate in an annual recital held in June.  At Dance FX there are no recital fees and boys are eligible for tuition scholarships.

Dance FX has received national recognition with Tremaine Dance Conventions. Several of our dancers are members of the Tremaine Performance and Apprentice team.  Dance FX alumni have performed for America's Best Dance Crews, Miami Heat Dancers, Marlins Mermaid Dancers, and the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.
